To ensure victory you have several options: accumulating a maximum of prestige points, accumulating more corruption than the king, fighting and killing the king, or using the spirit stones. These are challenges that you will have to surpass, otherwise, an unpleasant surprise awaits you. Perils are also present randomly on the board, symbolized by a banner with a skull. The plateau is composed of huts, each of them with different effects, plains, forests, mountains, swamps, colonies and stone circles. At the beginning of each turn, you can also draw cards that you can use throughout the game. Royal guards and plagues (sorts of evil crows) are also spread across the plateau. You will be able to equip two objects at the beginning of the game, a ring and an amulet, to improve certain abilities or to benefit from bonuses.
